Most of the time when I listen to k-pop I think “yeah this is good for a kpop song” but there’s always a rare song where I believe it’s just a good song period. This one right here is an example of that. I truly think this is one of the best and well constructed kpop songs of all time.. yes i’m glazing.. idgaf
내일에서 기다릴게 (I'll See You There Tomorrow)Video
This song is so catchy! I don't really listen to K-pop like that anymore because I grew out of it a really long time ago, but I definitely came back to this one after hearing it at KCON.
Truly the dancehall queen.. ikeda the icon you are… spotify played this for me just after its release and trust this song been blasting every morning 😫
This is the other song I was talking about in my last review. I feel like people overlook it because most of the attention went to "Leave the Door Open," "Skate," and "777." I completely understand why "Leave the Door Open" was promoted so heavily, but there are other songs on this album that deserved to be showcased too. This is literally just the Silk Sonic intro, and I still think it's really good. Not everyone listens to an entire album, so songs like this can easily get missed, especially when they're never played on the radio. I definitely never heard this one there.
Me As A Girl - I Don’t Know Why I Said That (Official Video)Video
super cute song :) i love the music video & the concept of this artist. all their songs truly talk about girlhood in such a fun refreshing manner, whoever is behind me as a girl is a genius. I love the promotion style even if it’s been a pretty slow journey.
I feel like we really overlooked this song. Everyone talks about "Skate" and "Leave the Door Open," and I'd say "777" was fine too, but "Blast Off" is so good. I think a lot of people miss what makes it special because they don't stick around for the outro, which is easily the best part. It sounds like someone is coming down from the clouds. It's beautiful. If I were getting married, I'd probably use it as an entrance song at my wedding. There's another song I really like too that I'm going to review next.
bro I was literally sitting in the back of my mates car last night and this came on, it just made me want to stare out the window and not talk to a single soul for the rest of the week, honestly had me feeling so weirdly calm and ruined at the same time, I am actually still thinking about it today
I wasin the grocery store parking lot earlier and this came on a playlist my sister sent me weeks ago. I almost skipped it because I was trying to hurry inside before they closed, but then that beat dropped and I just sat there in the dark staring at the steering wheel for ten minutes. It took me straight back to being in high school and sitting on the floor of my bedroom trying to learn all the choreo from the videos on TV. Actually I lie, I definitely heard this for the first time at a house party in like 2006 and nobody would tell me what it was. I spent three years looking for it because I misheard the lyrics completely and kept typing the wrong thing into search engines. Then I finally found it and played it to death for a month, but then I completely forgot it existed until tonight. It feels so good when you stumble back onto a track that just instantly shifts your whole mood like that. Why does nobody ever bring this one up when they talk about that whole era?
