Music/Music VideoMy cousin sent me this earlier when I was stuck in traffic on the way back from my shift. It immediately took me back to being twelve years old and sitting on the floor of my bedroom trying to learn chords off some sketchy tab website. I actually hated that guitar when I got it because the neck hurt my hands so much. Still I used to play until my fingers bled every single night. Honestly I thought I was totally over this kind of sad acoustic stuff years ago. I spent all afternoon listening to the new Timbaland tracks and then this just completely wiped my brain clear. Now I have had it on repeat for forty minutes straight. It feels like finding a lost tape in the back of a drawer that you forgot you even recorded. I kind of want to text my ex right now but I know that is a terrible idea. Does anyone else get that sudden urge to completely ruin their own night when a song hits just right?
